GREENEVILLE, Tenn. –
Mia Zulueta collected her second goal of the season as Lees-McRae women's soccer battled Tusculum to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening in a non-conference match.
Laura Walker recorded a season-best six saves in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ezra Carpenter had the first shot on target in the match at the sixth minute mark, but Tusculum's Noemie Tartrou made the save.
- Walker made back-to-back stops in the 12th and 15th minute marks for the Bobcats.
- Zulueta gave Lees-McRae the one-goal lead at the 43rd minute and the Bobcats led 1-0 heading into the halftime break.
- The Pioneers rallied for the 1-1 draw after an own goal off a corner kick in the 69th minute.
- Mackenzie Sanford had the final opportunity in the 88th minute off a strike, but Tusculum's goalkeeper made the final stop.
- Zulueta led the Bobcats with three shots on goal. Brooke Allen, Ainsley Dial, and Addy Geiss joined Carpenter, Sanford, and Zulueta with shots on goal this evening.
- Tusculum's Tartrou had seven saves in goal and the Pioneers had six shots on target in the contest.
