GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer student-athletes
Ezra Carpenter and
Sarah Jones were recognized to the Conference Carolinas Third Team this afternoon.
Carpenter, a Forward from Valrico, Florida, was tied for a team-high four goals this season for the Bobcats and had three assists in 18 matches. Carpenter recorded a multi-goal game against Belmont Abbey on September 23 with two goals and accumulated 1,394 total minutes on the pitch.
Jones, a senior from Pawleys Island, South Carolina, joined Carpenter on the third team after having a team-high 1,589 minutes on the field and started in all 18 matches for the Bobcats. Jones had two goals this season with one goal in matches against Converse and Young Harris.
Lees-McRae women's soccer faces No. 2 Belmont Abbey tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. in Belmont, North Carolina in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship.
