Sydney Stigler and Lees-McRae women's volleyball rallied for a five-set victory over Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas play on Saturday afternoon. Stigler had a match-high 23 kills and five service aces in the contest.

FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. Mount Olive, 3-2 (22-25, 25-19, 23-25, 29-27, 15-10)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mount Olive jumped out to a set lead with the 25-22 set win in the opening set. The Bobcats evened the match at one set apiece with the 25-19 win in the second set.
- UMO secured the third set after a service error by the Bobcats. The two sides played a marathon fourth set with Lees-McRae prevailing at 29-27 after a service ace from Iza Rosin.
- The Bobcats battled back after falling early 4-1 in the fifth set and earned the match victory at 15-10 in the fifth set.
- Stigler had a match-high 23 kills on 63 swings and added 14 digs and five aces. Clara Duarte followed with 14 kills on a .333 hitting percentage and Jadyn Walters tallied 13 kills. Rebecca Ryan rounded out the Bobcats with double-digit kills with 10 in five sets.
- Rosin distributed 57 assists in the contest and Brooke Ashkenase collected 15 digs at the libero position.
