LAKELAND, Fla. – Lees-McRae men's basketball concluded its Florida trip on Saturday evening and fell to Florida Southern, 116-70, in the Jenkins Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats jumped out to a 6-2 lead off a fastbreak layup from Yerald Mieses. Lees-McRae led 9-5 off a three-point shot from Deburgo at the 17:18 mark of the first half.
- Florida Southern gained the lead at 17-15 and went on a 12-0 scoring run for the eight-point lead over the Bobcats. Lees-McRae trailed 61-33 at the halftime break.
- Florida Southern added to its halftime lead and collected the 116-70 win on Saturday evening.
- Canady, Deburgo, and McDuffie combined for 48 for the Bobcats in tonight's contest. Nigel Okwakol joined them in double-digit scoring with 10 points off the bench.
