BANNER ELK.C. – Leah Barringer scored 14 points as Lees-McRae women's basketball fell to Young Harris, 80-62, in Conference Carolinas play on Saturday afternoon. Barringer, Emily Barr, and Thailand Smith were all recognized as part of Senior Day for Lees-McRae women's basketball.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Young Harris started the game on a 10-0 scoring run. Barringer ended the scoring drought for the Bobcat at the 5:12 mark of the first quarter. The Mountain Lions led 26-6 at the end of the first quarter and 48-22 at halftime.
- Lees-McRae chipped away at the deficit in the fourth quarter, but fell 80-62 on Saturday afternoon to Young Harris.
- Barringer tallied 14 points on 6-14 shooting. Kirsten Watt followed with nine points off the bench and Aleysha Hill added nine points for the Bobcats.
- Annalise Malone had a game-high 24 points for the Mountain Lions. Ivona Miljanic had 16 points and Kamryn Bates poured in 12 points for YHC.
