Isaac Yang collected victories in their respective singles, but Lees-McRae men's tennis fell short to Mount Olive, 4-3, in a Conference Carolinas men's tennis showdown.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- UMO earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 3 doubles. Borisov and Tenzin Dorji collected the win at No. 2 doubles at 7-6 (7).
- Yang recorded the first point of the day for the Bobcats with a convincing 6-1, 6-3 win over Mount Olive's Niklas Gruenefeldt at No. 2 singles.
- Mount Olive tallied the victory at No. 6 singles for the 2-1 advantage in the overall match.
- Borisov, No. 68 in the ITA National Rankings, defeated Kristoffer Dalbak, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to even the match once again.
- Arce outlasted Peter Carstensen in a third-set tiebreak for the victory at No. 4 singles. Arce and Carstensen went the distance in all three sets with tiebreaks.
- The Bobcats only needed one more win for the match victory, but Andrew Kunaka and Andy Tallafigo fell in three-set matches at No. 3 and 5 singles to end the day.
