BANNER ELK, N.C. – No. 47 Lees-McRae women's tennis earned its first Conference Carolinas Regular Season Title outright since 2002 with a 7-0 league victory over Mount Olive on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Caroline Brothers and Lina Ngassi Saqout started the day with a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles. Anita Ivanova and Pati Vedia Sanchez won 7-5 at No. 1 doubles. Alexa Mazzei and Miranda Noor defeated the No. 2 duo from Mount Olive, 7-5, for the doubles point.
- Brothers continued her strong play on the C.D. Chesley Tennis Courts with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
- Noor claimed the 6-4, 7-6 (3) win over Mount Olive's Simone Szovan and Ivanova collected the 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles to clinch the match for the Bobcats.
- Mazzei recorded the 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles and Saqout registered the sixth point of the day with the 7-6 (5), 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
- Sanchez finished the match in style with a 7-6 (3), 7-6 (4) victory at No. 1 singles over UMO's Lara Stamereilers.
