Spence Combs,
Garvin Johnson, and
Cole Morris were honored to the 2025 All-Conference Carolinas Team this afternoon. Johnson was tabbed as the freshman of the year. Combs and Morris notched second-team honors.
Johnson, a Houston, Texas native, collected 27 goals and four assists for the Bobcats this season and recorded 71 ground balls, six caused turnovers, and a 57.3% face-off win percentage. Johnson registered a season-high five goals in the season finale against North Greenville and had three or more goals in six contests for Lees-McRae.
Combs, a senior from Magnolia, Texas, was recognized to the All-Conference Carolinas Second Team. Combs started the Bobcat offense with 24 assists and tallied 23 goals in 13 games played. Combs notched his 100th career point for Lees-McRae in the Conference Carolinas finale with North Greenville. Combs also notched a single-game record with eight assists against the Trailblazers.
Morris, a sophomore Attack from Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, led the Bobcats with 46 goals and team-high 59 points in 13 games. Morris' 46 goals were tied for second among Conference Carolinas athletes this season and averaged 3.54 goals per game. Morris also ranked second in the league with 4.54 points per game.
