Adam Ross tallied multiple goals on the day, but Lees-McRae fell to Barton, 23-9, in a Conference Carolinas contest on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ross evened the score at one goal with a marker at the 13:04 mark of the first quarter. The Bulldogs ended the opening period with five goals in a row for the 6-1 lead.
- Henderson got the Bobcats on the board at the 14:44 mark of the second quarter and Lees-McRae cut the deficit to three goals at the end of the first half at 10-7.
- Cyrus Henderson tallied the eighth goal of the day for Lees-McRae, but Barton went on 11-0 scoring run to lead 23-8 midway through the fourth quarter. Barton took the game by a final of 23-9.
- Johnson scored his second consecutive hat trick of the season with three goals and picked up 13 ground balls in the contest. He went 17-28 from the face-off. Henderson and Ross followed with two goals apiece.
