KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Lees-McRae women's soccer program, under head coach
Cally Morrill, was recognized as a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award winner on August 1.
The academic honor is presented to teams that earn an annual GPA of 3.0 or higher. A total of 697 soccer teams (293 men, 414 women) posted a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Bobcats registered a team GPA of 3.49 for the 2024-2025 academic year. Lees-McRae was one of seven Conference Carolinas member schools to be honored with the recognition.
Lees-McRae women's soccer kicks off the 2025 regular season on September 4 in Banner Elk against Lincoln Memorial The match starts at 6 p.m. on Tate Field.
