Sarah Jones collected the second collegiate goal of her career, but Lees-McRae women's soccer dropped a 2-1 Conference Carolinas match to Young Harris on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sarah Jones got the Bobcats on the board first with a strike around the midfield line and Lees-McRae led 1-0 heading into the first half break.
- Laura Walker made two quality saves in the 58th minute of today's match, but Young Harris recorded its first goal at the 65th minute and scored the game-winning two minutes via Scarlett Hirschy.
- Josey Kirk had a shot on goal in the 76th minute, but Mountain Lion Goalkeeper Clara Williams made the stop. Young Harris earned the 2-1 win in both squads' Conference Carolinas opener.
- Kirk had two shots on goal and three Bobcats had one shot on target each. Walker made five saves for the Bobcats in today's match.
