CONWAY, S.C. -- The Lees-McRae women's cross country team returned to the Palmetto State on Friday as
Megan Knapp earned the new school record in the 5K distance at the Chanticleer Challenge with a time of 18:08.47.

NOTABLES:
- Knapp led the Bobcats with an 11th place finish in a time of 18:08.47. Knapp was the first Division II runner to cross the finish line this evening.
- Campbell Dille followed with a time of 18:49.89 and placed 31st. Kaylee Kraver placed 43rd with a time of 20:24.65 and Ari Redies crossed the line in a time of 20:42.06. Isabella Kiger was the fifth Bobcat to finish with a time of 21:07.00.
- Rebecca Kleiber rounded out the Bobcats in a time of 23:32.23 and placed 61st individually.
- Lees-McRae took fifth overall with 131 total points as Richmond claimed first with 17 points. Richmond's Lily Strebel took first with a time of 17:29.56.
