Ezra Carpenter collected two goals in the second half for Lees-McRae women's soccer as the Bobcats earned the 2-0 Conference Carolinas win over Belmont Abbey on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Jordan Bartlinski gave the Bobcats the 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute of the first half after finishing the ball into the back of the net off a corner kick from Kylie Gutierrez.
- Brooke Allen buried the second goal of tonight's match four minutes later and Lees-McRae led 2-1 with 10 minutes to play in the opening half.
- Belmont Abbey cut the deficit to one goal after an own goal by Lees-McRae in the 39th minute of the contest. Lees-McRae led 2-1 after the first 45 minutes.
- Carpenter scored her first goal of the match in the 47th minute and followed with another goal off a header in the 53rd minute for the 4-1 advantage.
- Belmont Abbey's Hannah Willis scored in the 77th minute, but Lees-McRae handed Belmont Abbey the 4-2 loss on Tuesday evening.
- Carpenter led. the way with two goals in the match on three shots on goal.
- Kaitlin Filippo made six saves in goal for the Bobcats and allowed two goals on the evening.
