WILSON, N.C. – Barton scored 50 points in the first half and defeated Lees-McRae men's basketball by a final of 88-67 on Saturday in Wilson, North Carolina.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barton built its lead to 19 points with 5:05 to play in the first half and led by 28 off a jumper by Trey Fields at the end of the first half.
- Lees-McRae cut the deficit to 16 points with 6:35 left in the second half off a three-pointer from Nigel Okwakol. Barton held off the Bobcats for the 88-67 Conference Carolinas victory on Saturday.
- Dwight Canady had a team-high 16 points in 40 minutes of action Saturday. Okwakol and Justin Bramao followed with 12 and 11 points in the contest.
