BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae knocked down a season-best 13 three-pointers and scored 32 points off turnovers in the 84-67 Conference Carolinas win over Mount Olive this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sydney Gueterman got the Bobcats on the board first with a layup off an assist from Nadiya Hairston. Lees-McRae built its lead to nine at the end of the first quarter after a three-pointer from Braelyn Stilwell.
- Mount Olive cut the lead to single digits and trailed by two at the 3:05 mark of the second quarter off a fastbreak layup from Aniyah Vanhook. Lees-McRae led by six at the end of the first half.
- Lees-McRae started the third quarter on a 8-0 scoring run and led 48-34 off a jumper from Hairston. The Trojans got within five points off free throw makes from Jerin Truesdale.
- The Bobcats used five three-pointers and went 7-11 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter and tallied the 84-67 win over Mount Olive this afternoon.
- Hairston led the Bobcats with a career-high 31 points on seven made three-pointers and 6-8 from free-throw line. Kaylee Carson followed with 24 points on 8-14 shooting and added eight rebounds and four assists. Stilwell joined them in double-digit scoring with an efficient 3-4 from three-point range and recorded three assists in the contest.
