BANNER ELK, N.C. – Emmanuel men's basketball used a second-half comeback to defeat Lees-McRae on Senior Day. The Lions used a strong second half for the 80-78 win on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae raced out to the 15-4 advantage after a layup from Nigel Okwakol. The Bobcats pushed their lead to 14 points off back-to-back three-pointers from Brent Randleman. The Bobcats led 46-36 at the halftime break.
- Lees-McRae continued to hold the double-digit margin in the second half and led by 14 with 11:14 remaining in the contest.
- Emmanuel cut the deficit down to seven points off a three-pointer from Andrija Vujacic and the Lions took the lead at 72-71.
- Yerald Mieses answered with a tip-in basketa at 73-72 and moved the lead to three points via a layup from Ira Wilson.
- Emmanuel regained the lead at 76-75 and held off the Bobcats for the 80-75 victory on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
- On Senior Day, Dwight Canady led the Bobcats with 21 points on 6-13 shooting and 4-7 from three-point range. Mieses and Okwakol followed with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
- Lees-McRae went 27-58 (46.6%) from the floor with nine made three-pointers.
