GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball Senior Setter
Abdirahman Ahmed was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Specialist of the Week. Ahmed finished the two matches with 89 assists and 16 digs.
The Bobcats opened Conference Carolinas 1-1 last weekend with a 3-1 win over Barton in front of an electric crowd on Saturday morning. Ahmed recorded a season-high 45 assists and six kills for the Bobcats.
In Conference Carolinas, Ahmed is sixth in assists per set with 7.92 and first in assists this season with 309. Ahmed also ranks 18th in service aces per set and 25th in blocks per set.
Lees-McRae men's volleyball hosts Belmont Abbey this evening on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court at 7 p.m.
