BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball Freshman Outside Hitter
Davide Nicolini has been recognized as the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Freshman of the Month for January.
Nicolini, a Castelnuovo Rangone, Italy native, recorded 65 kills in January and averaged 2.71 kills per set. Nicolini recorded a season-high 18 kills at St. Thomas (Fla.) on January 26 and tallied 15 kills at Barry on January 24.
Lees-McRae men's volleyball returns to action this evening at Tusculum with a 6 p.m. match start.
