WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field kicked off their 2026 Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships at the JDL Fast Track.
Campbell Dille,
Megan Knapp,
Landri Martinka, and
Aija McHone set a new school record in the Women's Distance Medley Relay and earned the top spot today.
THE BASICS
MEET: Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships
LOCATION: JDL Fast Track – Winston-Salem, North Carolina
MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Josh Brett led the men in the 5,000 Meters with a second-place finish with a time of 15:03.30 and a new school record. Isaac Reyna followed in third place with a time of 15:03.33.
- Lodrick Scott placed 12th in the Men's Long Jump with a mark of 6.52 meters. Cayden Roscoe finished in 15th with a jump of 6.25 meters.
- Lees-McRae men's track & field is currently sixth out of 11 teams with 15 points in five events.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Dille, Knapp, Martinka, and McHone took home the Conference Carolinas Championships in the Women's 4,000 Meter Distance Medley Relay with a meet and school record with a time of 12:33.01.
- Jocelyn Walker recorded a third-place finish with a clearance of 3.22 meters. Walker's clearance broke the school record previously held by Aliah Williams since 2020. Kaia Thompson placed sixth with a clearance of 2.87 meters.
- Lora Dillon registered ninth in the Women's Long Jump with a mark of 5.05 meters.
- Dille led the Bobcats in the Women's 5,000 Meters with a time of 18:46.02.
- Lees-McRae women's track & field currently sits in third with 22 points. Mount Olive is in first place with 75 total points through six events.
