Sydney Gueterman and
Nadiya Hairston combined for 41 points as Lees-McRae women's basketball earned its 19th win of the season with the 91-70 Conference Carolinas victory at Converse this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gueterman opened the scoring with a three-pointer 18 seconds into the contest and the Bobcats led by nine after another three from Gueterman with 6:48 left in the first quarter. Lees-McRae held the 21-17 advantage at the end of the opening quarter.
- Lees-McRae added to its lead in the second quarter and led by 13 after a layup from Braelyn Stilwell. The Bobcats held the 43-32 margin heading into halftime.
- The Bobcats continued to hold the double-digit lead through the third quarter at 61-49 and scored 30 points in the final quarter for the 91-70 victory over Converse.
- Hairston tied Converse's Mazie Helpman with a game-high 21 points in 35 minutes for the Bobcats. Hairston added nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals today. Gueterman collected a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds this afternoon.
- Kaylee Carson followed with 17 points on 5-10 shooting and Kirsten Watt rounded out the Bobcats in double-digit scoring with 10 points in 25 minutes off the bench.
