FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Lees-McRae flag football team continued Conference Carolinas today and picked up the 21-12 win over Emmanuel in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
Makenzie Hicks had 201 passing yards and two touchdowns. Natalia Hernández de León led the Bobcats with 97 receiving yards on five receptions and one touchdown.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hicks found Hernández de León for 24 yards and scored the opening touchdown.
- Tami Chatwood caught an eight-yard pass from Hicks for the second score of the game as Lees-McRae led 14-6 at the end of the first quarter.
- Ava Rivera recorded a passing touchdown in the third quarter as Lees-McRae recorded the 21-12 win over Emmanuel this afternoon.
- Hicks completed 17-39 for 201 yards and two touchdowns in the contest. Hicks also had 47 rushing yards and Mackenzie Walker collected 26 rushing yards on two carries.
- Jayden Jalbert led the defense with six tackles and one interception. Sydney Stigler registered five total tackles and Walker had five tackles and one interception for the Bobcats.
