CLEVELAND, Ga. — Madison Primeau recorded the third-most goals in a single game for Lees-McRae women's lacrosse today with nine goals in the 23-17 win over Truett McConnell.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Primeau evened the contest at 1-1 with a goal at the 8:29 mark of the first quarter. The Bobcats used a 4-0 scoring run to hold the 5-4 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- The Bobcats continued their scoring run with a goal from Payton Barbee to start the second quarter and led 11-4 off a goal from Taylor Murrell. Lees-McRae led 13-10 at the end of the first half.
- In the third, Lees-McRae built its lead back to five goals after a goal from Courtney Bednarz with 9:27 remaining. Lees-McRae led 18-14 heading into the final 15 minutes of play.
- Bednarz, Murrell, and Primeau tallied goals in the final frame as Lees-McRae defeated Truett McConnell 23-17 on Tuesday afternoon.
- Primeau recorded nine goals, seven draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers in today's win. Bednarz followed with seven goals, two assists, and seven draw controls. Murrell added four goals and four assists to her season totals.
- Li Cevallos joined her fellow teammates with a multi-goal performance with two goals and added four ground balls in the contest.
- Tori Meiss made eight saves in goal for Lees-McRae.
