GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball Junior Opposite Hitter
Ben Fincham was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week on Monday. Fincham led the Bobcats to two victories last weekend and combined for 45 kills.
Fincham, a Canonsburg, Pennsylvania native, led the Bobcats to wins over North Greenville and King in Conference Carolinas match last week. Fincham recorded a career-high 26 kills on a .327 hitting percentage in the five-set win at North Greenville and 19 kills in the 3-1 victory against King.
In 2026, Fincham is currently second on the team in overall kills with 169 and averages 2.49 kills per set. Fincham has 36 total blocks and 211 points in 18 matches for the Bobcats.
Lees-McRae men's volleyball is currently on a eight-match win streak and faces Erskine in Due West, South Carolina on Friday, March 20 at 6 p.m.
