BANNER ELK, N.C. — Crystal Johnson and
Madison Primeau registered multi-goal performances this evening, but Lees-McRae women's lacrosse fell to Converse, 23-7, in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Primeau tallied the first goal of the evening with 13:58 remaining in the first period. Converse answered with seven goals before Crystal Johnson scored the final goal of the opening quarter with seconds remaining on the clock.
- Converse added six more goals in the second quarter and led 13-4 at the halftime break. The Valkyries recorded 10 more goals in the second half for the 23-7 Conference Carolinas win.
- Primeau led the Bobcats with four goals and added three ground balls, three caused turnovers, and three draw controls. Johnson had two goals and five draw controls this evening. Courtney Bednarz tallied four draw controls, one goal, and one assist.
- Bailee Lizza collected 11 saves in goal for Lees-McRae.
