FLORENCE, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis recorded an impressive 4-3 Conference Carolinas win at Francis Marion today in Florence, South Carolina.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles. Pati Vedia Sanchez and Alexa Mazzei won 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Caroline Brothers and Lina Ngassi Saqout recorded the doubles point with a 6-4 win at the No. 2 flight.
- Brothers earned the second point of the afternoon with the 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
- Saqout followed with a three-set victory at No. 2 singles over Francis Marion's Magdalena Skachova. Saqout won 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2).
- Sanchez picked up a three-set win at No. 1 singles and earned the match victory for the Bobcats. Sanchez won 6-3, 6-7 (7), 6-4 against Francis Marion's Lara Lanno at No. 1 singles.
