GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis Senior
Pati Vedia Sanchez has been recognized as the Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Wednesday morning. Sanchez posted six wins on the week and continued her undefeated spring season in singles matches.
Sanchez, a Arganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain native, posted wins over King's Deniz Aytun, Belmont Abbey's Kaitlin Nguyen, and Francis Marion's Lara Lanno last week.
Sanchez is currently 11-0 on the season, primarily at No. 1 singles, and 8-3 at No. 1 doubles with Alexa Mazzei.
Lees-McRae women's tennis continues its season this afternoon against Converse at the Sandra R. Porter Tennis Center.
