BANNER ELK, N.C. – After a historic championship season, Lees-McRae women's basketball announced its 2026-27 schedule.
The Bobcats open the 2026-27 slate with an exhibition at High Point on November 2 at 7 p.m. Lees-McRae follows with its home opener against Virginia University Lynchburg at 5 p.m. on November 10 and then face Catawba and Tusculum in the regional crossover games on November 13 and 14. Lees-McRae then faces Liberty in an exhibition on November 22 in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Bobcats open Conference Carolinas play against North Greenville on November 24 and face Lander on the road on November 28.
In December, Lees-McRae faces King and Southern Wesleyan on the road on December 2 and 5. The Bobcats host Shorter on December 12 and then travel to Florida to face Florida Southern and Flagler in Lakeland, Florida on December 18 and 19. Lees-McRae rounds out 2026 against Wingate on December 30.
Lees-McRae begins the new year against Barton in January and faces Mount Olive on January 9. The Bobcats then play divisional opponent Belmont Abbey on January 13 and travel to Francis Marion on January 16. Lees-McRae hosts three games in a row with Wesleyan (January 18), Converse (January 20), and Young Harris (January 23). The Bobcats conclude the first month of 2027 with North Greenville and Southern Wesleyan on January 26 and 30.
In the final month of the regular season, Lees-McRae makes trips to Belmont Abbey (February 3), Erskine (February 6), Chowan (February 13), and Converse (February 24). The Bobcats welcome Ferrum, King, and UNC Pembroke to Banner Elk on February 9, 17, and 20.
Lees-McRae women's basketball joins the men's basketball team for Mountain Madness on October 23 on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court. The event is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
