BRISTOL, Tenn. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball earned its fourth victory of the season with a 3-0 Conference Carolinas sweep over King in the first of two "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup" matches this season.

FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. King, 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 28-26)

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (4-11/4-3); King (7-5/2-3)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae used a strong 11-2 run in the first set and collected the opening set by a score of 25-12. The Bobcats had a .346 hitting percentage with 11 kills in the opening set.
- The Bobcats continued their strong play in the second set and used a 4-0 scoring run for the 25-20 set victory.
- Lees-McRae went into extra points with King in the third set, but the Bobcats prevailed over the Tornado with the 28-26 third set win.
- Addi Stables led the Bobcats with 13 kills on the evening with seven digs and three service aces. Peyton Volk-Tuller followed with nine kills and five digs. Joy Bateman contributed five digs and nine total blocks this evening.
- Iza Rosin distributed a team-high 18 assists this evening and Aadyn Polk had 10 assists. Brooke Ashkenase registered a match-high 22 assists for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae women's volleyball combined with both Bobcat soccer programs to go 3-0 this evening against King.
