2018-19 Season (Junior) - Capps posted results in eight different meets on the year...Competed in the 3000m, 5000m and 3000m steeplechase...He posted several top-10 finishes across his events...Placed ninth at the 5000-meter run at the ETSU Open (16:32.76, Feb. 2), finished fourth in the 3000-meter run at the JDL Fast Track Team Challenge (9:12.43, Feb. 7), sixth in the 3000-meter run at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships (9:21.16, Feb. 17), 10th in the steeplechase at the Wofford Terrirer Relays (10:27.00, Mar. 30), sixth in the steeplechase at the Benyon Sports Catamount Classic (11:00.12, Apr. 13) and eighth in the steeplechase at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships (10:39.86, Apr. 27)...Academically, he was named to the Conference Carolinas Fall Presidential Honor Roll.  

2017-18 Season (Sophomore) - Capps took part in 11 different meets during his first season as a Bobcat...Competed in the 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m and 3000m steeplechase in 2018...Set a pair of personal-best marks in the 800m and 1500m runs at SWU's Susan Rouse Invitational...Won 3000m steeplechase at the Catamount Classic in mid-April with a time of 10:32.06...Finished fifth at the conference meet in the same event with a personal-best time of 10:04.32...Academically, Capps was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll.
