Biography

2017 Season (Senior) - Watt saved his best for his last season as a Bobcat in 2017...He started all 19 matches as a senior scoring four goals and adding 14 assists for a total of 22 points...Watt's 14 assists led the conference and placed him second nationally in that category...Was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week on October 30...After the regular season, Watt was named to the All-Conference Carolinas Third Team, D2CCA All-Southeast Region Second Team and to the All-NCCSIA First Team...Watt graduates from Lees-McRae ranking second all-time with 28 assists in his career...Academically, Watt was named to the Academic All-Conference team and the league's presidential honor roll. 

2016 Season (Junior) - Like he did as a sophomore, Watt started all of the team's matches in his junior season in 2016...The Newcastle, England native scored a pair of goals and added four assists...Watt scored a season-high three points in a victory over King (Tenn.) with a goal and an assist on Oct. 26...After the season, Watt was named to the Academic All-Conference team and to the Presidential Honor Roll for the second straight season. 

2015 Season (Sophomore) - In his second year in a Bobcat uniform, Watt started all 18 matches for LMC...Watt finished his sophomore season with 12 points on the season (2g, 8a)...His eight assists led Lees-McRae and was tied for fourth in the Conference Carolinas...Posted multiple points in three matches in 2015 and notched first two-assist performance on Nov. 3 against No. 3 Erskine...After the season, Watt was named to the All-Conference Carolinas Third Team and the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll. 

2014 Season (Freshman) - Watt played in all 20 matches in his first season as a Bobcat in 2014...The Newcastle, England native made his collegiate debut at Catawba on Sept. 4, and made his first start on Sept. 6 against Newberry...Watt tallied a goal and assist on Sept. 17 against Mars Hill to account for the first three points of his career...He also scored a goal at Barton on Oct. 25 and an assist at Southern Wesleyan on Sept. 24.

High School: Graduated from Gateshead College...Coached by Paul Bryson...Member of English Elite College League Champions team (2013)...Played for English Youth Alliance Champions and Durham County Cup championship team (2014).

Personal: Born on March 10, 1996 in Leeds, England...Son of Tim and Jayne Watt...Has two sisters, Beth (13) and Megan (15)...Intends on majoring in Sports Adminstration.
