2017-18 Season (Senior) - In his final campaign as a Bobcat, Royal played in 12 games and made one start...The senior center finished his final season with two points, two blocks, four rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes of action...Following the season, Royal was named to the Academic All-Conference team and to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll. 

2016-17 Season (Junior) - In his third season in Banner Elk, Royal appeared in 20 games...The Kernersville, N.C. native played a season-high 14 minutes against No. 2 Lincoln Memorial on Nov. 12...Royal made his lone start of the season against Belmont Abbey on Jan. 9...Following the season, Royal was named to the Academic All-Conference team and Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll. 

2015-16 Season (Sophomore) - Appeared in a career-high 22 games as a sophomore...Logged a total of 88 minutes of playing time on the season...Royal scored 16 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked four shots...He scored a season-high eight points against Piedmont International on Jan. 21. 

2014-15 Season (Freshman) - Royal appeared in 16 games and made three starts in his first season in a Bobcat uniform...Made his first collegiate start against Piedmont International on Nov. 21...Royal also scored a season-high six points along with three rebounds in that contest...Played a season-high 15 minutes versus Montreat College on Jan. 15.
