Biography

2019 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Ybarra logged a trio of top 20 finishes in the six races he competed in...Starting the season off, Ybarra placed ninth at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational...He also placed 19th at the Mountain to Sea Open in mid-September and 17th at the Conference Carolinas Championships in late October...His top 8k time as a sophomore came at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational where he ran a time of 27:41.8...Ybarra closed out his sophomore season with a time of 35:48.2 at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championships. 

2018 Season (Freshman) - Ybarra competed in eight races during his freshman season at Lees-McRae...Made his Bobcat debut on September 1 at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational...Posted his best 8k time at the Royals Challenge on October 12 running the course in 27:16.0...At the Conference Carolinas Championships, Ybarra finished 26th with a time of 27:49.3...For his efforts, he and the rest of the Bobcats competed at the NCAA Southeast Regional where he ran a time of 35:46.9 in a 10k race.
