2018-19 Season (Junior) - Tallent competed in one meet during his junior season, competing in the 300-meter dash...He posted an eighth-place finish in that event (37.12 seconds) at the Appalachian State Open (Dec. 1). 

2017-18 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Tallent competed exclusively in sprints and in relay races for Lees-McRae in 2018...Overall, Tallent saw time in 10 different meets...Helped LMC's Distance Medley Relay team finish second at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships...Also notched a pair of top 10 finishes as an individual in the 400m...Set a new personal-best time of 50.61 at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships in the 400m...After his sophomore season, Tallent was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll for his work in the classroom. 

2016-17 Season (Freshman) - Tallent competed in seven meets in his first season in Banner Elk...He competed in the 55m, 60m, 100m, 200m and 400m runs as a freshman...His best individual performance came at the Mountaineer Open Indoor Track Meet where he finished fifth in the 200m run with a time of 23.76...Tallent also held the top mark of any Bobcat in the 100m run with a time of 11.16, and was a key member of LMC's 4x100m relay team...Following the season, Tallent was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll.
