Down 4-7 in the third set tiebreaker, Kat Smith rallied to
defeat Anderson University's Aline Salvany in women's tennis
action. Smith rallied back twice against Salvany, the second at
match point 7-9.
She took the tiebreak 12-10 after losing game one 4-6 and
winning game two 6-2. Unfortunately, the Lady Bobcats were
defeated by the Lady Trojans in total points eight to one.
Jenna Simpson and Tolken Baidyldaeva lost their doubles match
1-8 while Smith teamed with Brittany Sherrill only to fall short
2-8.
In singles play, Baidyldaeva and Sherrill each lost 1-6, 1-6
while Simpson and Rebecca Payne each fell 1-6, 0-6.
