The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats tennis team traveled to Catawba
College to play the Indians in non-conference action Tuesday
afternoon, falling 8-1. The Lady Bobcats record falls to 2-4 for
the season.
Katherine Smith, (pictured top left), defeated Meri Cartmill by
default to earn the Lady Bobcats only point of the afternoon, as
the powerful Indians swept the doubles matches and used their depth
to out do the Lady Bobcats 5-1 in singles play.
The Lady Bobcats will return to action Sunday afternoon when
they travel to Carolinas Virginia Athletic Conference rival
Pfeiffer University. Matches are set to begin at 1:00pm.
