MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats women's
tennis team suffered their first Conference Carolinas loss of the
season with a 6-3 loss to the Mount Olive College Trojans Saturday
afternoon.
After falling in all three doubles matches the Lady Bobcats could
only pull out three of the six singles matches.
At number one, Gabriella Celi defeated Jessica Souza 6-0, 7-6 to
continue her unbeaten streak in the conference, and Christine
Vanard followed with a 6-3, 7-6 win at number two singles to stay
unbeaten in the conference.
Ashley Mayers earned the Bobcats last point with a 6-2, 7-6 win at
number four.
The Bobcats host UNC-Pembroke Sunday, March 22nd for their next
match.
