SUMTER, S.C. - The No.3 seed Lees-McRae College women's tennis
survived an upset bid, 5-4, by the No. 6 seed Mount Olive College
Trojans in the Quarterfinal Round of the Conference Carolinas
Tournament to advance to the Semifinals Saturday.
Lees-McRae took two of the first three doubles matches then went
on to hold onto the win the three of the six singles matches to
earn the 5-4 win.
The Lady Bobcats will advance to play No. 1 seed Erskine on
Saturday.
