Lutz Earns Win, Bobcats Fall at Catawba, 8-1

SALISBURY, N.C. --- Junior Hillary Lutz claimed her third singles win of the season, but the Lees-McRae women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Catawba Wednesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Complex in Salisbury, N.C.

The Indians climbed over the .500 mark with the win while improving to 8-7. The Bobcats fell to 2-9 while wrapping up a five-match road stretch.

Lutz (Shelby, N.C.) dominated Maddy Henderson in No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-0.

LMC welcomes North Greenville Saturday, March 18 at 12 p.m. to the LMC Tennis Courts in Banner Elk, N.C.
