Women's Tennis Drops 9-0 Decision at Barton

WILSON, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Barton in Conference Carolinas action Friday at the Barton Tennis Complex in Wilson, N.C.

The Bulldogs (1-4, 1-0 CC) earned 8-3 wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles. The Bobcats fell to 2-5, 0-1 with the loss while falling 6-3, 6-2 in No. 1 and 2 singles.

Hillary Lutz (Shelby, N.C.) dropped a hard-fought battle at No. 3 singles, 3-6, 7-5, 3-6 to Meredith Pruden.

LMC travels to Mount Olive at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7 in Mount Olive, N.C. for a CC tilt.
