Women's Tennis Blanked by Pfeiffer

BANNER ELK, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Pfeiffer Friday afternoon at the LMC Tennis Courts in Conference Carolinas play in Banner Elk, N.C.

The Falcons (13-3, 7-1 CC) won all the doubles matches by identical scores of 8-2. The bobcats fell to 3-11, 1-5.

Hillary Lutz (Shelby, N.C.) grabbed the first set against Valeria Mendoza in No. 3 singles, but fell in the second 6-0 before ultimately losing a tight battle, 10-8, in the third.

LMC welcomes Lincoln Memorial to Banner Elk, N.C. Wednesday, April 8 at 2 p.m.
