SUMTER, S.C. – No. 1 seed Lees-McRae defeated No. 2 seed Erskine, 4-2, in the 2025 Conference Women's Tennis Championship on Sunday at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
Pati Vedia Sanchez was named the MVP of the All-Tournament Team.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats notched the doubles point with victories on No. 2 and 3 doubles. Caroline Brothers and Lina Ngassi Saqout earned the 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. Alexa Mazzei and Miranda Noor clinched the point with 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
- Sanchez collected the second point of the day with the 7-5, 6-3 win over Erskine's Hanna Vasconez.
- Saqout bounced back in the third for the three-set win over Teodora Stefanovic, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.
- Brothers delivered the championship point for the Bobcats with the 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 6 singles.
- Brothers and Saqout joined Sanchez on the All-Tournament Team on Sunday afternoon.
- Lees-McRae earned its first tournament title in women's tennis since 2002.
