Box Score CLEMSON, S.C. – No. 6 Lees-McRae women's tennis concluded its season in the NCAA Southeast Regional on Monday afternoon after falling to No. 3 Columbus State, 4-0, inside the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility on the campus of Clemson University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- CSU earned the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles. Pati Vedia Sanchez and Anita Ivanova fell 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
- Sanchez and Caroline Brothers earned wins in their opening sets for the Bobcats at No. 1 and 6 singles, respectively.
- Columbus State used straight-set wins at No. 3, 4, and 5 for the 4-0 win on Monday afternoon.
- Sanchez led No. 10 nationally ranked Nikoline Gullacksen, 6-2, 3-4, at No. 1 singles when the match was halted.
- Brothers collected the first set at 6-3 for the Bobcats and led 3-2 in the second set over Columbus State's Maria Markosov.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae concluded its season on Monday afternoon and finished the 2024-25 year with an overall record of 18-5 and 10-0 in Conference Carolinas play. The Bobcats look to defend their Conference Carolinas regular season title for the third consecutive season next year.
