GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Lees-McRae women's tennis team fell to Tusculum, 9-0, Monday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex in Greeneville, Tenn.
The Pioneers (4-0) remain perfect on the season and didn't drop a game at No. 2, 3 and 6 singles.
The Bobcats (0-2) saw impressive play from Caroline Green (Columbia, Tenn.) and Mackenzie Langmade (Kailua Kona, Hawaii) at No. 1 doubles. The duo eventually dropped a hard-fought battle, 8-4.
Green took Kealee Heffner to the limit in No. 1 singles.
LMC travels to Catawba Friday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. in Salisbury, N.C.
