Women's Tennis Falls on Road at Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback against Catawba at the Johnson Tennis Center Friday afternoon in Salisbury, N.C.

The Indians improved to 9-3 while the Bobcats fell to 0-3.

Senior Taylor Bost (Jefferson, Ga.) hung tight with Kristen Rocko at No. 4 singles, but lost a tough one 7-6, 6-2.

Freshman Mackenzie Langmade (Kailu Kona, Hawaii) dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 3 singles to Maddie Henderson.

LMC opens conference play with a trip to Belmont Abby Tuesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in Belmont, N.C.
