CENTRAL, S.C. --- Junior Caroline Green picked up a pair of wins while the Lees-McRae women's team dropped a 7-2 decision to Southern Wesleyan in Conference Carolinas play Saturday morning at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in Central, S.C.
The Warriors improve to 5-7, 4-1 CC while the Bobcats slip to 1-6, 0-3.
Green (Columbia, Tenn.) joined forces with senior Hillary Lutz (Shelby, N.C.) to earn an 8-3 win against Jennifer Ball and Chyna Jones at No. 1 doubles play.
Green continued her impressive play with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles over Aimee Dorley.
Freshman Mackenzie Langmade (Kailu Kona, Hawaii) hung tough, but fell in a three set bout to Jones, 4-6, 6-3, 2-6.
