SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- A trio of Lees-McRae women's tennis players earned a win in singles action while the team fell, 6-3, to Converse in Conference Carolinas play Sunday afternoon at the Converse Tennis Complex in Spartanburg, S.C.
The Valkyries improve to 6-11, 2-6 CC while the Bobcats slip to 3-11, 2-7.
LMC's Caroline Green scored a win at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 decision against Alex Schlesener.
In No. 2 singles, Hillary Lutz followed suit with a pair of 6-3 marks against Margaret Pridmore.
Bobcats' Taylor Bost earned a victory against Samantha Sheffield, 6-4, 6-1 in No. 4 singles play.
LMC welcomes Emmanuel (Ga.) for a CC tilt Monday, April 11 at 2 p.m. in Banner Elk, N.C.
