BANNER ELK, N.C. – Caroline Green and Amanda Chapman picked up singles victories but it proved to not be enough Friday as the Lees-McRae College women's tennis team fell to Converse, 7-2, in Conference Carolinas action. With the defeat, the Bobcats dip back to the .500 mark at 3-3 on the season.
With the wins on Friday, both Green and Chapman push their respective records in singles action to 3-2. In the other singles contests, LMC pushed Converse to three sets. In doubles, LMC also pushed one of the matchups to a tiebreaker.
