BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's tennis team suffered its third straight loss Saturday to Belmont Abbey by a score of 8-1. The loss moves LMC's record to 3-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
LMC's lone victory Saturday came at the No. 1 Doubles position where Caroline Green and Mackenzie Langmade defeated Darian DeFrench and Morgan Zahnd by a score of 8-5. With the win, the duo of Green and Langmade improve their record to 4-3 on the season.

After back-to-back home matches, the Bobcats will hit the road Wednesday when they travel to take on Catawba in a non-conference clash. The start time for that match is set for 2 p.m.
