SALISBURY, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College women's tennis team dropped its non-conference match at Catawba on Tuesday (Feb. 26) by a score of 6-1.
Lees-McRae would win two out of three doubles matches for one point, before Catawba would go on to sweep singles play.
Sandy Allen and Nursharneem Shamsuddin won their No. 1 doubles match 7-6 (7-3 tiebreaker), before Jaden Acklin and Dakota Tittle captured a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles to secure the point.
The Bobcats (3-4) are back in action on Friday (Mar. 1) when they travel to Averett for a 12 p.m. first serve.
