KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Carson-Newman won all three of the doubles matches to clinch the doubles point and swept the visiting Bobcats in the singles competition to clinch a 7-0 win in the non-conference match this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The three Lees-McRae doubles teams battled in each of their respective matches, with the duos of Zeynep Cakirer/Mei Hiramatsu and Nursharneem Shamsuddin/Rhidaim Yang falling short by a 6-3 score each.
- Cakirer won the second set of her #3 singles match by a 6-1 score, before ultimately falling short in the third-set tiebreaker.
- Laura Ocampo won the first set of her #6 singles match by a 7-5 score, before falling short in the third and final set.
UP NEXT:
The Bobcat will travel down the mountain on Thursday, Feb. 17 as they compete in a non-conference match against Lenoir-Rhyne at 1 p.m.
